Prior to the adoption of this resolution, I notified the Board the study submitted by Mike Smith contained materially inaccurate information. Specifically, noting this website has not produced HTTP 415 errors, nor have multiple core pages been inaccessible for any sustained period. At no time has Mike Smith attempted to contact me to report alleged issues or clarify fundamental matters such as ownership of this domain and site and to confirm it's owned and operated by a private individual. Despite this, the resolution was adopted, retaining these demonstrably false assertions, contrary to the department’s governing principles, standards of accuracy, and the fiduciary and ethical obligations expected of its leadership.

As the designated official department site, I am obligated to publish Board documents as provided, without discretion to withhold or alter them based on content, regardless of my stance on their separation from reality. Accordingly, this resolution is posted in its original form. This note is provided to document known factual inaccuracies and provide clarifying context for the record.

As of April 13, 2026, I remain engaged in discussions with Board Chair English to attempt to address these matters, and have sent in the complete logfiles of the site webserver for the relevant time period, to attempt to correct the deficiency.
